My topic for this documentary is self-harm. The story I hope to tell is the impact this has on people. Why people do it, how people do it, and misconceptions. I’ll include photos depicting or symbolizing what it can look like, what it can feel like, the addiction that often forms, and how recovery can feel.

Social documentary photography is a form of photography. The main focus is to capture life, especially in its environmental and social aspects. It aims to draw public attention to social issues.
